My Story

At the young age of 12, I started lifting weights, running, and researching all about strength and conditioning. I’ve always known I was destined to be in the fitness industry.

5 years later, I got my first job as a coach at Crossfit DMA and later transferred to another Crossfit gym – Crossfit Cranium. Things went pretty well.

As a Crossfit athlete, I made my way to the top of the podium multiple times and competed in international competitions. I was living the dream, my dream.

But one day, gyms went on lockdown and I was forced to train at home, alone and with no one to share the fun with. Enduring through those final reps while getting out of breath got harder and harder without the cheers of your workout companions. in other words, things got boring.

I wasn’t really the “runner” type of guy. In Crossfit competitions, I was always in the middle pack comes to a running event. So I decided, since competitions in our area were off, I should start running. And I did.

I ran on roads, trails, and mountains and it didn’t take long for me to get hooked on the sport of running.

My Google search history is proof of how obsessed I was with the sport of running, I was searching for products, tips, etc.

I became the go-to person when it comes to running gears and tips. So I decided to create a running blog where I could answer all common questions. That blog is runnersgetup.com.

Now, when my friends ask me for advice or a running gear recommendation, I send them a link to an article on my site where I explain things in detail.
